How Quickbooks Payments works

QuickBooks Payments is built into QuickBooks Online and lets you accept invoice payments via ACH or credit card. When a customer pays, it’s automatically recorded in your books, making reconciliation easier.

It works well for basic invoicing and collections. But QuickBooks Payments charges a 1% fee on every ACH payment received which quickly adds up.
