Forwardly is a payments platform known for its instant payment capabilities and $0 subscription plans. The company also offers integrations with common accounting tools like Quickbooks and Xero.

But, there's a big catch. ACH is not actually free and only available in some circumstances.

By default, you're required to use Instant ACH and pay 1% on every transaction. "Free" ACH is only an option when Instant ACH isn't available.

While Instant ACH sounds great, it also has significant drawbacks for businesses. This includes the inability to reverse mistaken transactions and the requirement to link your bank account through Plaid.
